The ideal individual they are seeking will be able to demonstrate the following:
Professional and positive attitude
Degree in Construction Management or Architecture
8+ years of relevant experience in architecture or construction management
Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
Excels at problem-solving, and seeks to improve their skills
Is self-motivated and can work on multiple projects at one time
Can work as part of a team without direct daily supervision
Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED/WELL AP (desired, but not required)
Basic knowledge of Revit
knowledge of construction specifications (desired but not required)
Willingness to learn new processes and explore new concepts
An understanding that your opportunities are as limitless as your imagination
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position are:
Report to the Principal responsible for the individual project
Develop project construction budgets and timelines
Assist in construction document quality control
Coordinate bidding and negotiation project efforts
Lead construction administration on large projects
Attend Job site meetings, perform field observations, and issue field reports
Lead construction closeout
Cultivate positive contractor relationships
Develop standard practices for firmwide construction administration procedures
Display knowledge of industry standards and an understanding of building codes, industry trends, building structures, and architectural advancements
