Description
Job Overview:
The client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in civil engineering projects and a passion for designing and managing infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design civil engineering plans, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other software.
- Prepare, review, and modify project plans and designs.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conduct site inspections, surveys, and feasibility studies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure, transportation, or land development projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), Outlook
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and complete duties independently
- Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
- Experience working in a fast-paced team environment
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within a specified period.
