 Responsibilities:
  • Manage, review, and prepare tax returns for business and individual clients.
  • Lead tax engagements across all phases including tax planning, research, advisory, and compliance.
  • Prepare clear and concise tax workpapers and manage tax filings for various returns.
  • Establish budgets and schedules for tax-related work.
  • Mentor, train, and develop tax staff in a collaborative team environment.
  • Provide consulting and client service while cultivating professional client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent public accounting tax experience, including 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065 forms.
  • CPA license preferred.
  • Strong tax knowledge to develop and mentor staff.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (QuickBooks add ProSystem fx preferred).
  • Professional, reliable, and capable of working independently with a strong ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
