Job description

Our Client:

Global Tech company is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (México) that could provide overall Financial strategic direction for the local (México) operation and leadership to the executive team. The main goal is to provide insights and inputs about financial results and performance, communicate, engage with Investors and Executive Leadership Team to improve operational efficiency, direct right investments and increase profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the whole finance function(Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Controllership, Taxes, Internal Controls, AP/AR/Cash Planning, Audit) Legal, Procurement & Facilities Management.
  
• Oversee Treasury Front/Middle & Back Office. Ensuring full compliance with company policies and guidelines, addressing treasury and cash flow issues operating across complex economies.
  

• Manage relationships with Banks and major financial service providers.

• Coordinate cash management tools to centralize financial information.
  
  
• Prepare Planning & Business reports, highlights, presentations and strategic reviews for the Leadership Executive Team. Prepare monthly presentations of financial results and annual budget.
  
• Evaluate operations to identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize resource allocation, and suggest reorganizations to enhance efficiency.
  
• Working closely with the Executive Team on their planning activities to ensure the plans support the profitability/cash/asset efficiency and continued financial viability of the company.
  
• Oversee Commercial Finance activities conducted in the region to provide strategic guidance for major customer deals.
  
• Oversee the companys risk management strategy and monitoring process, supporting the Audit, Risk and Finance Committee in its duties in this regard.
  
• Provide oversight for the accounting team, ensuring that all financial statements, reports, and tax filings comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  
• Establish strong accounting processes and maintain rigorous financial controls.
  
• Work closely with auditors to ensure accurate and efficient audits and tax compliance.
  
• Oversee policy compliance, balance sheet control and statutory reporting and risk assurance activities.
  
• Lead and mentor a growing finance team, promoting a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration.

The Successful Applicant:

• 15+ years of Finance experience.
• Work experience in a Tech Regional or Global company is a must.
• 15+ years of leadership experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation (preferred).
• Masters degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• Exceptional oral and written communication with the ability to concisely provide executive summaries to senior management.
