Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts & Finance professional for our client organization, which is a Tyre Distribution Company, based in Karachi, Pakistan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Oversee inventory management, including valuation, stock reconciliation, and loss prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and requirements, including sales tax, duties, and income tax.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial systems.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CMA/ACCA graduates will be given preference.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in distribution businesses.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems (e.g. QuickBooks, ERP software)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
