Digital Marketing Technology Manager

Are you a forward-thinking and talented Digital Marketing Technology professional? We are seeking an innovative and skilled Digital Marketing Technology Manager to join a leading global cosmetics company in NYC.

Reporting directly to the Head of Digital for the U.S. and Canada, you'll leverage your expertise in enterprise websites, email development, and event and e-commerce tags. A strong grasp of web analytics will make you a perfect fit. This is an exciting opportunity to shine in the digital landscape and play a key role in shaping the future of a brand!

This is a six-month contract-to-hire hybrid role open to local candidates; 3 days onsite.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Managing a team of Email and Marketing Automation team members/
• Be the liaison between business stakeholders and engineer configurations to manage the API calls, ETLs to ensure a clean data flow between multiple ecommerce platforms, CRM and ESP systems.
• Manage the architecture of marketing data to support marketing initiatives, tracking and dynamic content for email marketing.
• Establish and own process on website tagging, tracking and analytics, leveraging tools like Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in tracking implementations, ensuring data accuracy across platforms.
• Design and manage event tracking, e-commerce tracking, and consent management setups.
• Create reports and dashboards in looker studio to represent a visualization for cross functional departments specifically for the digital marketing and merchandising team to analyze their efforts.
• Develop and maintain web SOPs and training documentations.
• Translate complex business strategies within e-Commerce and direct selling business of Avon to assist with automation, personalization and segmentation.
• Help develop and refine segments to enable one to many personalization efforts on site and overall journey through marketing channels.
  
  

Qualifications: 

Education: 

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.

Required: 

• 4 years of experience in website management or a similar role.
• 3 years of experience in email development to support day-to-day marketing, communications, and real-time triggered communication, collaborating with IT and other systems.
• Hands-on experience with web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proficient in Tag Management tools such as Tealium or Google Tag Manager.
• Experience with debugging and testing tools like Tag Assistant, Debugger, or browser console.
• Solid understanding of enterprise Email Service Provider (ESP) configurations and the data components of automations.
• Passionate about driving reliable data insights through validation and collaboration with IT, Business Intelligence (BI), and Analytics teams.
• Skilled in demonstrating innovation by successfully tackling challenges in new and creative ways, even in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
• Knowledgeable in web accessibility, compliance, and upcoming regulations.
• Capable of developing solution strategies and effectively communicating recommendations to executive leadership.

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $50 to $55. This range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
