We are seeking a Head of Finance / Finance Manager to lead and scale our finance function. This role reports directly to the CEO and owns end-to-end financial leadership across accounting, financial planning, controls, compliance and team development. You will be the strategic partner to leadership while also building strong operational foundations. The Finance Operations Executive / Assistant Manager will report into this role.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution in a fast-paced startup environment.

What You'll Do

Finance Leadership and Strategy

• Own the overall finance function including accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, compliance and reporting.
• Partner with leadership on financial strategy, long-term planning, pricing and investment decisions.
• Provide clear financial insights, performance tracking, variance analysis and scenario planning.
• Build scalable finance processes and systems to support company growth.

Accounting and Financial Operations

• Oversee the full spectrum of finance operations including AR/AP, payroll, general ledger, month-end and year-end close.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and management reporting.
• Design, implement and strengthen internal controls, policies and workflows across departments.
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks and external partners.

Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting

• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
• Monitor performance versus plan and communicate financial health and key metrics to stakeholders.
• Build financial models for cash flow management, business cases and growth initiatives.

Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax filings and regulatory obligations across regions.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Champion financial governance, discipline and transparency across the organization.

Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Support

• Manage, mentor and develop the finance team, including the Finance Operations Executive / Assistant Manager.
• Provide cross-functional financial support to product, sales, marketing and operations teams.
• Support Singapore HQ and overseas subsidiaries as the company scales globally.

You Are:

• You have 8 to 10 years of experience in finance, accounting or related leadership roles, ideally in startups, fintech, SaaS or high-growth environments.
• You hold a Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar; professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA) are a plus.
• You are strong in both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
• You understand numbers, systems, processes and enjoy building and improving them.
• You are detail oriented, dependable and bring structure to fast-moving environments.
• You take ownership, solve problems independently and help others move faster.
• You are comfortable operating where clarity is built, not given.
