Facilities Technician – Data Centre Infrastructure

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Facilities Technician to support the operation, reliability and continuous improvement of the infrastructure supporting Data Centres.

You will contribute to critical infrastructure operations, equipment installations, monitoring, technical changes and Data Centre improvement projects.

Responsibilities

Support the reliable operation of Data Centre infrastructure and contribute to achieving equipment SLA targets.

Monitor infrastructure systems, capacity and technical changes affecting Data Centre operations.

Support infrastructure projects, technical upgrades, pilots and implementation of new solutions.

Perform and support rack equipment installations and Fibre Channel, UTP and power cabling activities.

Work closely with internal technical teams and maintain accurate implementation and support documentation.

Requirements

Secondary/Vocational qualification in Electrotechnics, Electrical Engineering, IT or a related technical area.

Portuguese and English language skills.

Minimum 2 years of relevant technical experience in Data Centres, IT infrastructure, telecommunications, electrical infrastructure or similar environments.

Hands-on knowledge of technical installations, ideally including racks, UTP/fibre connectivity and power cabling.

Driving licence, strong safety awareness, attention to detail, teamwork, autonomy and willingness to work flexibly/on-call when required.
