Legal Counsel Specialist– Commercial Contracts

We are looking for a Legal Counsel Specialist to provide legal and commercial advice and solutions to stakeholders.

You will help the business move projects forward while ensuring that legal and commercial risks are understood and appropriately managed.

Responsibilities

• Providing effective legal and commercial advice and assistance
• Review, draft and negotiate contracts
• Assist the function supported regarding the identification, assessment, mitigation and management of legal and commercial risk in light of different risk profiles
• Help to ensure that business is conducted in accordance with relevant law and Sodexo's internal governance processes
• Provide preliminary advice on disputes
• Advise on regulatory compliance
• Support a range of standard and bespoke contracts and queries with relatively low to medium levels of revenues, complexity and impact

Requirements

• Law degree and qualification as a lawyer in an EU jurisdiction.
• Fluent English; French would be an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years relevant post-qualification experience in commercial contracts.
• Strong knowledge of technology agreements, GDPR and contractual risk management.
• Excellent judgement, drafting, negotiation and international stakeholder-management skills.
