Senior SAP P2P (AP) Consultant

Overview

In this role, you will be a critical contributor to the global S/4HANA Retail implementation project. Collaborating with business counterparts and the implementation partner, you will design the core global template for Accounts Payable (P2P-AP) processes, drive a "fit-to-standard" approach, and ensure a successful system deployment that aligns perfectly with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Core Model Design & Alignment: Translate global Accounts Payable processes into SAP S/4HANA Retail functionality, conducting alignment workshops with business process owners to maintain a "clean core" strategy.
• Solution Evaluation & Feasibility: Critically assess implementation partner proposals, challenge cost estimates, and perform technical feasibility assessments to ensure compliance with business needs.
• System Integration: Collaborate on integrating SAP S/4HANA with internal and external third-party applications, facilitating seamless data transfer and functional continuity.

Requirements

• Experience & Expertise: Strong background in SAP S/4HANA transformation projects (greenfield preferred) with expert-level knowledge in the Finance/Accounts Payable module. Intermediate knowledge of Project System and Controlling modules is required.
• Technical & Configuration Skills: Proficient in configuring SAP FI and Accounts Payable processes. Highly valued additional technical exposure includes SAP VIM (Vendor Invoice Management), SAP Rebate Settlement, S/4HANA Workflows, and SAP BTP.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. Relevant SAP certifications are a strong plus.
• Key Skills: Strong analytical capabilities for troubleshooting, exceptional project prioritization skills, and the adaptability to navigate shifting project dynamics.
• Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in French is a plus, and knowledge of Italian is highly desirable.
