Job Details

Hexagon Lavish® is an antiartificial scientific R&D startup in Atlanta, Georgia that has an opening full-time/permanent position for an experienced Senior Staff Research Scientist I: Computational Physicist who will direct an engaging focus in conducting the computational aspects of the startup and developing the computational research channels for the startup.

The Senior Staff Research Scientist I: Computational Physicist will also need to hone skills in encompassing both a re-definition of the way scientific research is performed and assist the Chief Science Officer.

Position Overview

Hexagon Lavish® is an antiartificial scientific R&D startup in Atlanta, Georgia that has a full-time/permanent position for an experienced Senior Staff Research Scientist I: Resolute & Unstressed Computational Physicist.

The Senior Staff Research Scientist I: Resolute & Unstressed Computational Physicist will be working on the expansion of the PIR project and will be responsible for the initiation, design, development, execution and implementation of long-term PIR-associated scientific research projects. The Senior Staff Research Scientist I: Resolute & Unstressed Computational Physicist will also be obligated to provide assistance to all research scientist personnel in the R&D department.

The Senior Staff Research Scientist I: Resolute & Unstressed Computational Physicist will report weekly to the Chief Science Officer and provide status reports. The Senior Staff Research Scientist I: Resolute & Unstressed Computational Physicist for this position will function in the capacity of a researcher with the responsibility of providing assistance to the Hexagon Lavish® Team in developing the scientific foundation for the IISS (Informational Interpretation Scientific Software) platform and future research in other projects.

The Senior Staff Research Scientist I: Resolute & Unstressed Computational Physicist will work with the program architecture staff to develop series of modeling applications of the PIR project(s) and conduct research on computational algorithms that will model the physics to exist within the program’s architecture. Prime candidacy for this position is looking to reward individuals for those who express exceptional skills in conducting research in protein folding, thermal modeling, finite element analysis and especially optics (including sequential and non-sequential ray tracing). Essentially, being prodigious in computer vision is also a requirement.

*This position requires a PhD.*

*All applicants for scientific, mathematical or technical positions will be subjected to a pre-interview questionnaire.
