Role Overview

The Affiliates Manager will be responsible for acquiring and managing affiliate relationships, optimising existing partnerships, and driving growth initiatives within the affiliate marketing channel. You will be at the forefront of maintaining and expanding the affiliate network, ensuring performance targets are met while staying up-to-date with market trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Affiliate Acquisition: Acquire and establish relationships with new affiliates, contributing to the company's growth.
  • Optimisation and Management: Monitor performance, optimise affiliate deals, and manage ongoing partnerships to improve results.
  • Affiliate Growth: Work with low-performing affiliates to increase performance and support key affiliates to drive further acquisition.
  • Innovation: Suggest and implement initiatives that promote growth and maximise affiliate partnerships.
  • KPI Management: Ensure that all KPIs, traffic, and revenue targets are met or exceeded, providing top-tier affiliate marketing service.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed of the latest affiliate marketing trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Data Analysis: Manage multiple affiliate accounts, analysing performance data to drive continuous improvements.
  • Budget Management: Oversee affiliate platform CRM and budget allocation, including commission and spending optimisation.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in affiliate marketing, with a successful track record in managing and optimising affiliate programs, particularly within the European market.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English is essential; proficiency in Maltese would be advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Able to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with tools such as Income Access, GA4, Ahrefs, and Microsoft Business Suite is required. HTML and CSS skills for landing pages and promotional materials are a plus.
  • Organisation: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and accounts simultaneously.
  • Self-Motivated: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical and detail-oriented with a strong ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
