About Our Client
Our Client operates some of Malta's favourite restaurants, enhancing the culinary landscape with top-tier hospitality and innovative cuisine. As a leader in the hospitality sector, the business prides itself on delivering exceptional dining experiences across its various brands.

Role Overview
The Head of Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative direction and marketing strategies for our Client's around 20 restaurants and their various brands. This role requires a visionary leader capable of driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will craft innovative campaigns that resonate with target audiences, working closely with various departments to ensure a cohesive and impactful marketing approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy Development: Define and implement creative, innovative marketing strategies for multiple restaurant brands, tailoring the approach to each brand's identity and market positioning.
  • Campaign Management: Lead the conceptualisation, planning, and execution of marketing campaigns, including promotions, digital marketing, social media, PR, and in-restaurant experiences.
  • Content Creation & Storytelling: Work with the in-house Designer and the Marketing Agency to create content development for all marketing channels, ensuring compelling storytelling that resonates with target audiences and showcases the uniqueness of each brand.
  • Market Research & Consumer Insights: Conduct thorough market research and analyse customer behaviour to drive marketing strategies that align with consumer trends and preferences.
  • Digital Marketing: Develop a strong online presence for each restaurant chain through effective digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and influencer partnerships.
  • Collaboration with Culinary & Operations Teams: Work closely with internal teams to create promotions, special events, and product launches that enhance the guest experience.
  • Brand Partnerships & Sponsorships: Build strategic relationships with external partners and influencers to enhance brand visibility and drive growth.
  • Performance Analytics: Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimise campaigns and ensure they deliver on KPIs and ROI.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring that resources are allocated to initiatives that drive the highest impact.
  • Competitor Monitoring: Keep a close watch on competitor marketing campaigns, offers, and promotions to ensure the Company's brands stay ahead of the competition.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience, with a proven track record of leading marketing strategies preferably in the hospitality, catering, or restaurant industry.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas effectively across different stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with partners and influencers.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in digital marketing, including social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM systems, etc.).
  • Organisation: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
  • Self-Motivated: A proactive and driven individual, with a passion for creativity and innovation.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset, capable of identifying solutions to marketing challenges and optimising performance.
