Role Overview
Our Client is seeking to recruit a skilled Accountant due to ongoing growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for client financial and management accounting, VAT compliance, corporate income tax computations, and regular reporting to management. This role involves managing a diversified portfolio of companies and providing high-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Accounting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
  • VAT Compliance: Handle VAT returns and ensure all related compliance requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Corporate Taxation: Compute corporate income tax obligations and prepare necessary returns, ensuring compliance with tax legislation.
  • Management Reporting: Regularly report financial performance and insights to management, highlighting key issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Client Management: Deliver exceptional service to clients, addressing their financial queries and ensuring their needs are met effectively.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

  • Experience: A qualified accountant or at the final stages of qualification, with relevant experience in accounting.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required, both verbal and written.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook, with strong analytical skills.
  • Organisation: Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Self-Motivated: Demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to tasks and challenges.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address issues efficiently and effectively.
