Finance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and management on budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow requirements.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, and capital spending against budget and funding sources.
- Present financial reports and forecasts to stakeholders, with improvement recommendations.
- Provide financial forecasting, budgets, performance analysis, investment monitoring, and cash optimization in alignment with CLGs guidelines.
- Establish frameworks, processes, templates, and approving authorities for key finance and procurement functions.
- Oversee controls, compliance, and ensure overall financials and corporate governance.
- Manage external audit and internal audit firms.
- Lead ERP system implementation project.
Procurement & Admin
- Ensure all Procurement policies and workflows are up to date and properly in place.
- Oversee the procurement team and provide direction and guidance to ensure compliance with procurement policies and procurement framework, which are benchmarked against best practices and governance and are well understood by user departments.
- Develop training guides and conduct training sessions for users on procurement processes.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during the implementation of procurement systems and facilitate procurement data migration activities.
- Review the vendors / services contracts to ensure they are prepared in accordance with terms and conditions.
Job requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Accountancy and/or is a Chartered Accountant/Certified Public Accountant
- At least 8 years of experience in managing key finance functions and preparation of full set of accounts of statutory boards or private companies as well as managing the external/ internal audit process
- Prior Experience in implementation of system is preferred.
- Effective stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Has a growth mindset in seeking continual improvements and keeping up with digital transformation that leads to significantly better and cost-effective outcomes.
- Good team player and meticulous with numbers
- Independent and self-driven with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and perform under pressure.
- Possess knowledge in public sector governance policies or Code of Governance for Charities with Institutions of a Public Character (IPCs) is an advantage.
- Effective writing and presentation skills with a good command of English preferred
