Department Overview

This QA team is responsible for the Quality Assurance of the Commerce Department services. You can be involved in leading e-commerce services and develop your skills in a global environment.

Therefore, we are looking for a very talented and enthusiastic Test Automation Engineer capable of building up our test automation architecture so we can ensure the reliability and scalability of our services.

Position Details

• Work closely with test engineers and development teams to define and improve the test automation architecture
• Test automation architecture design/operation
• Design and operate original test automation framework
• Design and operate CI/CD environment
• Assign and review tasks for team members (including outsourced members)
• Design test automation scripts for UI, API, and web applications
• Implement test automation scripts
• Operate test automation tools
• Verify and analyze test results
• Report on test results

Work Environment

Our QA team, consisting of 5 to 10 members, operates in a global environment where both English and Japanese are used. The QA knowledge of the team is continuously improved through overseas conferences and weekly certification study sessions like ISTQB. We maintain a healthy work-life balance (average overtime of 20-30 hours monthly, depending on the team). Regular 1-on-1 meetings are conducted to create a safe, comfortable working environment.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Over 3 years of experience in test automation development/implementation
• Experience with any language is acceptable, but familiarity with testing middleware or frameworks (e.g., Junit / Test::Unit / unit test / Selenium / Cypress) is required
• Backend knowledge and application testing experience
• Experience in developing/designing/implementing UI & API tests
