Department Overview

The QA team is responsible for the quality assurance of services within the Commerce Department. You will have the opportunity to be involved in one of the largest commerce services in Japan and develop your QA skills in a global environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on quality KPIs, identify trends, and determine root causes
• Work closely with product managers and development teams to define and improve system test specifications
• Maintain high performance through standardized QA processes and improve processes for lower performers
• Assign and review tasks for team members (including outsourced members)
• Manage multiple projects (including onsite/offsite management)
• Plan, design, implement, and execute tests (including managing outsourced teams)
• Prepare daily and weekly reports

Work Environment

Our QA team consists of 5 to 10 members and operates in a global environment where both English and Japanese are actively used. The team frequently exchanges opinions while performing QA tasks. To deepen QA expertise, members participate in and present at overseas conferences, and weekly certification study sessions, such as ISTQB, are held. The average overtime for the team is 20 to 30 hours per month, and we prioritize work-life balance to ensure that both personal and professional life are fulfilling. Regular 1-on-1 meetings are held to create a safe and secure working environment.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Over 3 years of experience in application test design and execution
• Knowledge equivalent to the ISTQB Foundation Level

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in application development
• Knowledge and experience in the internet services industry
• Experience in API/UI test automation development and non-functional testing
• E-commerce domain knowledge
