Job Description
The Recruitment Specialist is designated to conduct a preliminary evaluation and endorse candidates for the final interview of the Hiring Manager as part of the screening procedure to ensure getting the right people for the right jobs. Responsible for the issuance of job offers as well as the creation of the new hires account in the HRIS.
Promotes the company image to the candidates during the recruitment process and represents in the most accurate and appropriate way and drives the highest standards of ethical behavior.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the job specifications to include experience, skills, and behavioural competencies needed for success in each role.
- Establish and monitor open positions in the applicants tracking system linked to existing job
portals, search engines and social media platforms to attract candidates. - Participates in any sourcing initiative internal/external to increase pipeline and generate leads of prospects and applicants.
- Conduct a preliminary review of profiles and initial interviews to evaluate the quality and readiness of candidates to be considered based on the job specifications and to ensure completion of specific assessments or tests required.
- Accountable for endorsing only qualified candidates for the final interview of the Hiring Manager and initiating follow-up on the outcome of the final interview to communicate with candidates.
- Facilitate job offers to selected candidates and once accepted to secure accurate and concise mandatory pre-employment information and records for SproutHR employee account creation.
- Ensure compliance of selected candidates in the completion of pre-employment requirements and endorse the 201 files to Offboarding Specialists for completion.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Collaborate and adhere to best recruitment practices.
- Perform other related functions as required
Skills and preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / College Degree
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in talent acquisition from a BPO set-up is a plus
- Requires strong oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and working well with the team
- Demonstrates ability to interact with all levels of employees in a highly professional manner.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use MS Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
