Job Description

  • Administer first aid treatments and provide medications for all employees.

  • Assist all injured employees and bring them to the nearest hospital if needed.

  • Maintain all employees medical records.

  • Secure and ensure that the sick employees submit a fit to work certificate upon returning to work.
  • Interpret and evaluate diagnostic test based on the verification of medical certificates.

  • Schedule and assist annual medical examinations of all employees.

  • Conduct inventory of medicines and other supplies every month.

  • Conduct Health Seminar to all employees.

  • Disseminates relevant health advisories (e.g., infectious diseases, seasonal conditions, health risks) to educate employees on the risks and treatment.

Health and Safety

  • Staying up to date with current health and safety regulations by DOLE.

  • Promoting worker productivity by developing and implementing health policies.

  • Maintain records system and reports for occupational related illnesses and injuries.

  • Serve part of the OSH Committee and Emergency Response Team

  • Collaborate in creation of monthly health bulletins.

  • Conduct administrative activities related to occupational health and safety as assigned by the Superior.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in the field of Nursing

  • Registered Nurse

  • With at least 2 years of experience preferably

  • With certification from OHNAP (either OSH or BOSH) is preferred

  • Patient management, Occupational health, and safety

  • Good communication skills, patient handling, first aid

  • Able to handle different types of people across the organization, able to handle emergencies and sensitive information
