1. Main purpose of the job

  • The Outbound Sales Agent is responsible for driving sales by engaging prospective customers over the phone, promoting sign-up incentives, and achieving sales targets. The role focuses on contacting customers who have downloaded the app and offering them an incentive to sign up. This position requires proactive communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to convert leads into loyal customers while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.


2. Responsibilities and duties

  • Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective customers, utilizing weekly provided data points.

  • Promote incentives and offer sign-ups to potential customers over the phone.

  • Meet sales targets, including 1 sale per hour, with an Average Order Value (AOV) of $30 per hour.

  • Achieve and maintain a 60% activity retention rate after 4 weeks.

  • Accurately document all customer interactions, sales, and follow-ups in the CRM system.

  • Collaborate with team members and management to optimize sales strategies and meet goals.

  • Handle customer objections effectively and turn leads into loyal customers.

  • Continuously improve product knowledge to stay ahead of customer needs and market trends.


3. Skills and preferred qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of outbound sales or telemarketing experience, ideally in a US-facing campaign.

  • Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a high-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with CRM tools or sales management software.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive approach to challenges.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle objections.

  • Previous experience in telesales or customer service is a plus.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to multitask effectively and manage competing priorities.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, understanding that this is a trial position and committed to making it successful.

  • Ability to thrive in a remote work environment.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  1. Sales Target: Achieve 1 sale per hour.

  2. Average Order Value (AOV): Maintain an AOV of $30 per hour.

  3. Retention Rate: Maintain 60% activity retention after 4 weeks.
