HR Generalist is an all-rounder in the HR team, dealing with a broad range of responsibilities including recruitment, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance with HR policies and regulations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes, managing HR documentations and providing general administrative support to the HR Team.

Job Description:

Employee Records and Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS and physical files.
  • Process employee data changes, including new hires, terminations, promotions and transfers.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics as required.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

Recruitment and Onboarding Support:

  • Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate background checks and reference checks.
  • Prepare and process new hire paperwork and onboarding materials.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and ensure smooth onboarding experience.
  • Maintain communication with candidates during the recruitment process.

HR Administration and Documentation:

  • Manage HR-related correspondence, including letters, emails and memos.
  • Maintain and organize HR files and documentation.
  • Assist with the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Process employee requests and attend to employee inquiries and direct to concerned HR POC.
  • Manage employee training and development programs.

General Administrative Support:

  • Answer employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations and managing calendars.
  • Process invoices and expense reports related to HR activities.
  • Order and maintain office supplies needed for the daily operations and pantry supplies.
  • Assist with HR projects and engagement initiatives as needed
  • Assist with compliance reporting.

Compliance and Legal:

  • Ensure all HR practices comply with company policy and labor standards and regulations.
  • Assist in audits and compliance checks.
  • Maintain knowledge of current HR trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in BS Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • Proven experience in an HR administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
