Job Description
1. Main purpose of the job
We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the outbound logistics operations. The candidate will be responsible to coordinate and track all deliveries to customers ensuring that all deliveries are made successfully and in rare cases, reporting those unsuccessful deliveries.
2. Responsibilities and duties
We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the outbound logistics operations. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and tracking all deliveries to customers ensuring that all deliveries are made successfully and in rare cases, reporting those unsuccessful deliveries.
Coordinate and liaise with the outbound team and customer care team on a day-to-day basis to ensure customers are well-informed of any changes.
Effectively communicate with couriers and 3PLs to build strong relationships and plan effective solutions to problems in live environments (ie: vehicle breakdowns and the boxes need to be recovered and delivered the same day)
Monitor all deliveries until it arrives to the customer and update cross-functional teams involved
Ensure that delivery requirements are followed by stakeholders and carriers using our SOP
Call customers to let them know about their delivery or to help amend any delivery queries.
Report to the UK carrier managers and help support them by sending reports to carriers.
Coordinate and organise daily and weekly reports to show trends and any outstanding errors with suggestions for improvements
Partial remote/Work from Home set-up and partial office set-up
3. Skills and preferred qualifications
Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain, preferably perishable delivery experience but not required
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Google Docs, Sheets, Excel, Word)
Experience in SQL and DataGrip preferred
Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident calling customers
Excellent English Skills
Outstanding organisation and oriented
