Job Description
Main purpose of the job
You, as Logistics Specialist, play a crucial role in being able to meet the delivery promise made to the customers and in successfully delivering their weekly recipes on time and without errors. You are responsible for overseeing and optimizing the steps required including transportation, storage, distribution and customer experience.
This role needs strong organisational skills, some excel / analytical skills, good problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. They should also have a good understanding of supply chain processes and logistics management and be familiar with relevant software and technology.
Responsibilities and duties
- Closely monitor the delivery status of boxes to ensure smooth delivery to the customer; send out comms as needed
- Act proactively and fastly to ensure to mitigate any force majeure issue within the distribution chain that may prevent the customers from receiving their box on time.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Perform ad-hoc, one-off admin processes such as updating our customer databases and systems as needed.
- Bonus / Malus scheme: check unattempted deliveries to report bonuses and penalties to couriers (to be done every end of month)
Inform Customer Care 2nd Line team of weekly refused orders in W(0) to be double checked with customers prior ahead of W(1) orders.
Review weekly all the errors categorized as account team-Logistics and give feedback to Customer Care manager.
Documents and reports on any data or tech issues to the team.
Skills and preferred qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in working with logistics providers is required
- Basic knowledge of Excel and Google Suite (mainly Gsheet) is required
- Basic knowledge of data visualization (in Tableau)
