The Senior Sales and Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote our brand, engage our target audience, and support overall business goals. This role involves managing both internal and external communications, creating compelling content, overseeing brand messaging, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to execute integrated marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to the Sales and Marketing, PLM, R&D, and the regional Marketing teams.
- Craft, edit, and manage a variety of content including press releases, blog posts, newsletters, social media updates, email campaigns, presentations, speaking opportunities, interviews, webinars, town halls, internal comms, and website updates and other marketing materials.
- Ensure consistency in the company's tone, voice, and visual identity across all channels.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, prepare press kits, and manage press outreach to secure positive coverage.
- Coordinate with partners and customers for speaking opportunities, marketing material requests, product demo shipments, event coordination, and usage of logos, images, and projects publicly.
- Collaborate with sales and business teams to build solution focused commercial offerings
- Coordinate marketing materials of our key segments and sub-segments, supporting sales/product management functions to promote sales.
- Communicate our customer insights across the company, ensuring all teams are aligned with our customer-centric approach.
- Craft compelling messaging and segment solution-level narratives that align with our company positioning across our customer segments
- Collaborate and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for new charging solution launches and features, including pricing strategies, promotional activities, and sales enablement.
- Inform the content roadmap with charger customer insights. Collaborate with our internal Integrated Marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across channels and to develop content for events.
- Manage conference, association and media engagement, calendars, and budgets.
- Facilitate all event activities from registering team members, selecting and designing booths, ordering of booth, and marketing materials, shipping of all event content, booking hotels, creating booth schedules, preparing the team in advance, setting up and taking down booths, to problem solving and resolving issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 10 plus years of experience in product marketing communications, content creation, or a related role.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a portfolio of past work.
- Experience managing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, content management systems (CMS), and email marketing software.
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with experience in tracking and reporting on campaign metrics.
- Demonstrated experience in developing impactful marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, presentations, and web content based on previous product launches
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
- Experience with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
