As a Quality Manager in Projects, you will act as a trusted expert, advisor, and partner. Youll support, guide, and monitor the Project Manager and the Project Team to ensure top-tier quality throughout the project lifecycle. Your role is pivotal in guaranteeing the successful launch of new products with a strong focus on quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure traceability, PFMEA, control, and inspection plans are in place for a seamless transition post-launch.
  • Partner with the Supply Chain to finalize component releases and supplier quality deliverables.
  • Ensure completeness of all project documentation.
  • Lead risk assessments using tools like FMEA, Product Quality Plans (PQP), and Failure Analysis Investigations (FAI) to prevent quality issues.
  • Drive the Lessons Learned process, implementing improvements in future projects and products.
  • Monitor and address process quality issues, handling nonconformities and coordinating corrective actions.
  • Perform risk management to minimize quality risks, ensuring robust product and process designs.
  • Set and oversee quality plans, aligning them with corporate standards, and validate type test adequacy.
  • Implement quality gates and ensure continuous improvement in development and product surveillance.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, ensuring clarity on project quality expectations.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Masters preferred).
  • 610 years of experience in Quality Management, R&D, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong knowledge of quality methodologies like FMEA, Ishikawa Diagram, 5Why/8D, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
  • Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and ISO 45001).
  • ASQ or similar quality certifications are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with project management and R&D processes.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as Engineering, Product Management, Operations, and Purchasing.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 15%).
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability to work within a global, matrixed organization.
  • Must complete Siemens QMiP training and certification within the first 6 months of employment.
