R&D Project Controller

Your role

• Implement and enhance R&D project controlling and project accounting processes to improve cost transparency and operational efficiency.
• Streamline tools and processes, and help create standardized reporting templates, processes, and metrics.
• Oversee the annual budgeting, planning, and monthly forecasting for R&D projects, subsidies, and cost centers.
• Be the main point of contact for financial inquiries regarding R&D resources and expenses at Heliox's Dutch R&D sites (Veldhoven, Breda, Halfweg).
• Work closely with R&D Project Managers to ensure financial control and meet project objectives.
• Manage R&D contracts, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations and alignment with global R&D hubs.
• Ensure adherence to internal and external controlling standards, policies, and procedures.
  
  What you bring
• A degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, with a focus on accounting and/or controlling.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Controlling or Accounting, with a solid understanding of R&D projects.
• Strong analytical skills, an affinity for numbers and systems, and the ability to manage complex financial tasks.
• High level of independence, flexibility, and effective time management skills.
• Proficiency in SAP/R3, MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint); experience with Power BI and Tableau is an advantage.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
