We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality across our product development and production processes. Your key focus will be on delivering quality assurance that meets our company's standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

As a Quality Assurance Manager for Heliox/Siemens eMobility you will:

  • Provide Process (P)-FMEA support for ongoing and new projects to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to implement comprehensive testing plans that ensure product reliability and performance.
  • Integrate lessons learned from past manufacturing experiences and field data into current and future product designs.
  • Oversee production quality planning, including tests, work instructions, checklists, and training.
  • Ensure continuous improvement and quality in production reviews.
  • Maintain and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) for the location, ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Monitor and address measures from external and internal audits as part of the global audit program.
  • Lead root cause analyses for non-conformities, implementing preventive measures and ensuring the 8D problem-solving process is followed.
  • Support updates of FMEAs to reflect changes and improvements in processes and products.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure ongoing quality improvement.
  • Provide customer remote support in collaboration with Sales and Regional teams, addressing concerns and resolving issues.
  • Manage customer complaints, create customer action plans and reports, and conduct customer visits.
  • Serve as the Quality Responsible for the Product Care Team, ensuring that returned parts are thoroughly analyzed and findings are reported accurately.
  • Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to suppliers for defective parts and oversee the resolution process.
  • Manage and communicate product safety alerts to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on 8D problem-solving activities.
  • Manage documentation related to Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Non-Conformance Costs (NCCs).

You will make impact if you have the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6+ years experience in the following:
    • Quality management, Research & Development (R&D), or Supply Chain Management (SCM) roles.
    • Project Management and R&D processes
    • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and ISO 45001 standards.
    • Knowledge and experience in core quality methods like FMEA, Ishikawa Diagram, 5Why/8D methodology, and VSM.
    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
    • Solid multi-tasking, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments, such as Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Purchasing.
    • Flexibility to work on international projects and travel worldwide as the need arises (~15% travel).
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills with all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to work in a matrix global organization.
    • Working with multiple internal stakeholders to achieve goals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
  • ASQ or other quality certifications are desired.
