Job description
HeavyJobs is excited to represent a leading provider of crane and lifting services, now hiring an Appointed Person for Lifting Operations in South Wales. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for planning, supervising, and executing safe and efficient lifting operations for diverse projects.

Main Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee all aspects of lifting operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Develop detailed lift plans and risk assessments for complex lifting activities.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of lifting operations.
• Monitor equipment and procedures to maintain safety and efficiency throughout projects.
• Provide expert guidance and technical advice on lifting operations to site personnel.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in lifting operations, with a focus on planning and executing complex lifts.
• Relevant qualifications such as Appointed Person (BS 7121) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations related to lifting operations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.
