HealthOPM is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join a welcoming retirement community serving seniors in the Huron County area. This opportunity is ideal for RPNs who are passionate about delivering high-quality resident care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) standards.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor, assess, and document residents' health status and report changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Supervise and support Personal Support Workers (PSWs) while promoting quality resident care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with organizational policies and infection prevention practices.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in good standing.
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 12 months).
• Current TB screening/clearance.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous experience in retirement living, long-term care, or seniors' care is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident-centered care.

Compensation & Benefits
