Emergency Room (ER) Nurses
Locations: Cumberland, NS
Start Dates:
- February 14th, 2025,
End Dates:
- March 31st 2025,
Shift Details:
- 12-hour shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
- May be required to float to other units as needed.
Accommodations:

Requirements:
- Active RN license and at least 2 years of recent ER experience.
- ACLS certification preferred.
Position Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in a hospital setting in Nova Scotia for a 6 week contract. You will be part of a dynamic healthcare team providing quality care to patients in an Emergency Department (ED) or a similar fast-paced environment. The position offers excellent accommodation and travel support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in the Emergency Department (ED) or related areas.
- Conduct thorough assessments, interventions, and documentation in accordance with nursing standards and protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, observing for side effects or complications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly and efficiently.
- Provide compassionate and culturally sensitive care to diverse patient populations.
- Maintain professional, effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements:
- Licensing: Current registration with the College of Nursing of Nova Scotia (CNSNS) is required.
- Experience: Previous Emergency Department (ED) or related critical care experience required.
- Skills: Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and think critically in emergency situations.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
