Critical Care Intensivist 

Southeast Alabama

A respected regional health system is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Critical Care Intensivist to join a well-established ICU team in a hospital-employed model. This opportunity offers a balanced lifestyle with a manageable patient load and full subspecialty support in a state-of-the-art facility.

Practice Overview:

  • 7-on/7-off block schedule (7 a.m. 7 p.m.)

  • 14 shifts/month with shared call from home after hours

  • Work alongside experienced Intensivists and APPs

  • Manage a 32-bed ICU and a 14-bed overflow unit

  • Ventilator management for a 10-bed neurocritical care unit

  • Responsibilities include procedures such as intubation and central line placement

  • After-hours admissions handled by Hospitalist team

  • 24/7 in-house anesthesia, radiology, pharmacy, and respiratory therapy

  • Full surgical and medical subspecialty support including trauma, neuro, vascular, and cardiology
