Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our well-established Cardiovascular Surgery team. The ideal candidate will have experience in endoscopic vein harvesting and a passion for providing high-quality surgical and perioperative care. Key Responsibilities:

Assist Cardiothoracic Surgeons in the operating room, including vein harvesting (EVH preferred)

Perform inpatient rounds and manage pre- and post-operative care

Conduct follow-up visits in outpatient clinic setting

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, and Intensivists

Participate in call coverage as needed

Utilize advanced surgical technology including daVinci robotics and Maquet EVH system
Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

Current PA-C certification and Alabama license (or eligibility)

Prior experience in cardiovascular surgery strongly preferred

Proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting is highly desirable

Strong communication and clinical skills

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
