Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Operations Manager to join our team. The Ops Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of The Farms, ensuring operational excellence, and driving the company's growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural and a passion for sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's mission and goals.

Oversee farm operations, including production planning, crop management, field operations, machinery maintenance and distribution logistics.

Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Manage budgets and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and profitability.

Collaborate with the executive team to set strategic priorities and identify growth opportunities.

Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.

Drive initiatives for innovation and sustainability in farm operations.

Build strong relationships with partners, suppliers, and the wider community.

Qualifications:

Experience within the agricultural sector.

Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing teams.

In-depth knowledge of sustainable farming practices, machinery operation and maintenance, and logistics.

Excellent strategic planning skills.

Strong understanding of financial management and operational performance metrics.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
