Our client is a community management platform that uses the power of machine learning to help brands tap into closed communities, for insights and marketing. Below are the Primary responsibilities of the role.

Role: Account Manager (Sales)

Location: Gurgaon, Bangalore, Mumbai

Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate customer acquisition: Identify key stakeholders within national brands whose brands can benefit from community marketing.
  • Accelerate customer acquisition: Identify the Brand's objectives and pitch value proposition for using the company's platform.
  • End-to-end Client Management: Own sales funnel through outreach, onboarding, adoption, renewal, expansion and loyalists
  • Foster relationships: invest in building strategic partnerships with key customers
  • Work collaboratively across teams: Product, Technology, Growth and Marketing
  • Develop sales plan: Envision strategy for business development and achieving Sales Quota
  • Process compliance: Adherence to all processes related to Sales Funnel reporting & tracking, Sales forecasting etc.
  • Evangelize the product: Best-in-class collaterals, case studies and pitch propositions
  • Manage business with reasonable size and scale with a growth mindset

Qualifications:

  • You have 7 - 12 years of experience working in sales or business development. You have been a team player in the sales teams that have marketed and sold new ideas and concepts, ideally in the digital world.
  • You are excited to be in the world of start-ups and scaling, and you get a thrill from chasing a revenue target.
  • You have a solid foundation in sales principles and practices. The fast-growing sales/business development team at the company will look to you to bring your best practices, and learn about lead tracking, nurturing, closing and pipeline building.
  • You enjoy great client relationships. You listen to, and understand customers, and partner with them in problem-solving.
  • You build long-term engagements that allow you to farm within large brands and companies, as also use the strength of your delivery to hunt successfully.
  • You have strong analytical and quantitative skills. The ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions will be critical in this role.
  • You work well with cross-functional teams. The success of the sales team is dependent on the ability of a team player to partner with other functional teammates to understand what the market needs, and continuously improve the product to better meet customer needs.
  • You enjoy challenges. Can meet critical project milestones and deadlines. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy.

Skills Required

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A high degree of familiarity with digital platforms and the digital ecosystem
  • Strong executive presence along with networking capabilities
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate Client (Brand's) marketing objectives to internal customer success teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must
