We are seeking a customer-focused team player to work on-site in a mission-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a willingness to interface with multiple teams.

Focus: Collaborate with various DoD entities on cybersecurity strategy, design, development, and implementation of IT systems that enhance the security of DoD information systems and mission-critical data.

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph.

  • Proficiency in methods, standards, and approaches for describing, analyzing, and documenting enterprise IT architecture (e.g., TOGAF, DoDAF).

  • Experience in conducting architecture reviews to ensure network security architecture concepts (including topology, protocols, components, and principles) are correctly applied.

  • Ability to align standards, frameworks, and security with overall business and technology strategy.

  • Expertise in identifying and communicating current and emerging security threats and designing architecture elements to mitigate these threats.

  • Capability to create solutions balancing business requirements with information and cyber security requirements (confidentiality, integrity, availability, and non-repudiation).

  • Skilled in identifying security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommending changes or enhancements.

  • Strategic direction setting for information security initiatives, processes, and standards.

  • Research and evaluation of next-generation security technologies and concepts.

  • Participation in project meetings to provide security and governance input throughout project lifecycles.

  • Documentation and addressing of organization's information security, cybersecurity architecture, and systems security engineering requirements throughout the acquisition lifecycle.

  • Input to the risk management framework process activities and related documentation.

  • Evaluation of security architectures and designs to determine the adequacy of security design and architecture proposed or provided in response based on identified requirements.

  • Translation of proposed capabilities into technical requirements.

Education/Experience:

Senior Level:

  • Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Cybersecurity Architect on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university (Four additional years of Cybersecurity Architect experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree).

  • DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2 is required.
