Cyber Security Architect
Active TS/SCI Clearance Full-Scope Polygraph required
We are seeking a customer-focused team player to work on-site in a mission-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a willingness to interface with multiple teams.
Focus: Collaborate with various DoD entities on cybersecurity strategy, design, development, and implementation of IT systems that enhance the security of DoD information systems and mission-critical data.
Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph.
Proficiency in methods, standards, and approaches for describing, analyzing, and documenting enterprise IT architecture (e.g., TOGAF, DoDAF).
Experience in conducting architecture reviews to ensure network security architecture concepts (including topology, protocols, components, and principles) are correctly applied.
Ability to align standards, frameworks, and security with overall business and technology strategy.
Expertise in identifying and communicating current and emerging security threats and designing architecture elements to mitigate these threats.
Capability to create solutions balancing business requirements with information and cyber security requirements (confidentiality, integrity, availability, and non-repudiation).
Skilled in identifying security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommending changes or enhancements.
Strategic direction setting for information security initiatives, processes, and standards.
Research and evaluation of next-generation security technologies and concepts.
Participation in project meetings to provide security and governance input throughout project lifecycles.
Documentation and addressing of organization's information security, cybersecurity architecture, and systems security engineering requirements throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
Input to the risk management framework process activities and related documentation.
Evaluation of security architectures and designs to determine the adequacy of security design and architecture proposed or provided in response based on identified requirements.
Translation of proposed capabilities into technical requirements.
Education/Experience:
Senior Level:
Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Cybersecurity Architect on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university (Four additional years of Cybersecurity Architect experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree).
DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2 is required.
