HR Manager (12-Month FTC)

Education role - variety of secondary and primary schools, reporting into the HR Director

Main Responsibilities

Policy Review Project

  • Review policies across various schools
  • Carry out a policy mapping exercise.
  • Compare policies across schools.
  • Identify gap analysis
  • Recommend standardised policies.

Employee Relations

  • Low-level ER casework.
  • Provide higher-level HR advice and guidance.
  • Support Headteachers with following correct procedures.
  • Ensure consistency in managing employee relations.

General HR

  • Support centralisation of HR.
  • Work alongside HRBP and Director of People.
  • Travel between Trust sites.
  • Support change projects including TUPE and Trust growth.

The Role

  • 12-month fixed-term contract.
  • ASAP start.
  • Hybrid working.
  • 4-week notice period preferred. 
  • CIPD Level 5 desirable (working towards Level 7 viewed positively).
