Account Manager, Head Office, Skelmersdale, onsite 4 days/1 WFH.  £40,000 - £45,000

The Role:

Our client is seeking a dedicated Account Manager to drive the development of both Seasonal and All-Year-Round Business

The role involves close collaboration with manufacturing partners, customers, and cross-functional internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet client expectations. 

The position is based primarily in the Skelmersdale office, with the opportunity to work from home one day a week, and will include occasional UK and European travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, plan, and manage assigned client accounts to achieve business objectives.
  • Build and sustain strong, strategic relationships both internally and externally.
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of customers within the Chocolate and Confectionery product range.
  • Responsible for costings within the Product Development Process including negotiating pricing with manufacturing partners
  • Ensure the timely and successful execution of projects, meeting the needs of customers and manufacturing partners.
  • Present sales reports and provide clear communication on the progress of key initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop growth opportunities by collaborating with the wider team and manufacturing partners.
  • Manage high-priority requests or escalate issues when necessary.
  • Negotiate pricing and manage expenditures, aligning with strategic, budgetary, and forecast goals.

Skills/Abilities/Behaviours:

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and numerate abilities.
  • Minimum 3 years of Own Label Account Management experience preferred.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a high level of attention to detail.
