The Role:

My client is a leading provider in the temporary traffic industry and is seeking a dedicated and organised Hire Desk Administrator to join their team in Winsford. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, processing orders, and providing accurate information about products and services.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team with quotes, availability checks, and follow-up on potential leads.
  • Order Management: Efficiently handle the end-to-end process of hire desk operations, including processing hire orders, returns, and exchanges.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records of all transactions, customer interactions, and inventory levels. Prepare necessary documentation and reports as required.
  • Coordination: Liaise with the logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and collection of equipment. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any customer issues or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a hire desk, customer service, or administrative role, preferably within the traffic management or construction industry.
  • Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Attributes: Proactive and customer-focused approach. Great attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge: Understanding the temporary traffic industry is advantageous.
