Technical Support Engineer - Nottingham £30,000 - £40,000

The role:

Working with the Technical manager the Technical Support Engineers role is to support the management of our client's technology solutions portfolio by providing key technical support. They will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Manufacturing to ensure products are developed and configured to meet customers requirements and to provide the external 1st line product support.

Responsibilities:

Technically contribute and support to the delivery of our Products and Systems offering 1st line support direct to clients.

Ensure close collaboration with other Technical Support Engineers and Product Engineers in the business, ensuring that we offer a best-in-class service to our end clients.

Supporting Product Engineers and others on the operations side of the business when delivering elements of the portfolio to ensure that they are meeting the required technical requirements.

Liaising with and sharing knowledge with others in the business that are providing 1st line support to the portfolio, using appropriate documentation, reporting and tools to enable you to successfully deploy and provide 1st line support for the portfolio.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience in the traffic or technology industries, including one or more of the following areas: Traffic Signals, Variable Message Signs, and CCTV
  • Suitable Technical qualifications, or relevant technical experience.
  • A full UK driving license is essential as you will have a company van/truck, which will be taken home at night. A safe place to park is essential.
