IBM Planning Analytics (Full-time, 100% Remote)

As an IBM Planning Analytics developer at a rapidly growing firm, your contribution would be at the core of developing the enterprise level solutions for resolving real-world business challenges at global scale which the success of the global operations would depend on. Your contribution would be compensated for with a competitive wage and benefits. To be successful in this role, you are expected to perform the following responsibilities and meet the requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Planning Analytics reports for budgeting, forecasting and actual reports and provide ongoing maintenance
- Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to understand the business requirements and develop financial reports and reporting solutions
- Connect to various data sources as needed for developing necessary reports
- Ensure the accuracy of the deliverables through quality assurance practice
- Develop strong understanding of business requirements to create necessary calculation logics for various metrics
- Run various queries to check any report/data issues for punctual reporting and escalation
- Support and troubleshoot Planning Analytics / TM1 related issues
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in related fields with strong development and modelling background using Cognos TM1/ IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 Rules, Feeders, Turbo Integrator processes, and system configuration
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance, accounting, or information systems
- Experience with writing SQL queries and stored procedures
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to explain and elaborate complex ideas effectively to various stakeholders
- Experience in ETL development using tools such as ADF, SSIS
- Experience in handling large datasets, relational databases, and distributed systems
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or other mainstream cloud computing platforms
- Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement
- Excellent project and time management skills
- Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or with a group
- Must be fluent in English
- Authorized to work in the Philippines without any restrictions
