Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front End Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Front End Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our business portal application. You will be expected to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers, to ensure the successful delivery of projects. You will need to possess a strong understanding of front-end development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting into the Global Head of Engineering based in Australia, you will:

• Design, develop and maintain new modules for the existing portal application

• Deliver functional, reusable code and libraries for future use

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

• Provide enhancement and maintenance to the existing codebase

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers

• Ensure the successful delivery of projects

Experience and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in front-end development and ability to work in an Agile environment

• High proficiency in web development, including HTML, vanilla JavaScript, and SCSS.

• Advanced knowledge of Reactjs, HTML 5.0, Typescript, and state management using Redux.

• A solid understanding of RxJs, REST APIs, CORS, and sockets.

• Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create new solutions, facilitate feedback, and make design decisions.

• Experience building reusable code and libraries in accordance with industry best practices.

• A solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including Git version control.

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
