UX/UI Design Lead/Manager

 Job Description:

As an international financial technology company, were looking for the right UX/UI Design Leader that has a passion for the Design and Experience of beautiful Web & Mobile products. Someone that wants to lead the Design of key Products in the U.S., Australian and European markets.

Role / Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a team of UX/UI designers.
  • Develop and own UX/UI style guides across entire Product Line, including multiple web and mobile products for U.S., Australian and European markets.
  • Work with Product and Engineering teams in wireframing, mock-ups and prototypes of UX/UI design
  • Manage the UX experience from ideation to production, for projects than span multiple teams, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Apply analytics to monitor and continuously optimize the user journey across all Products.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in UX/UI Design (with a compelling portfolio to showcase)
  • Have led design of at least one web application in the U.S. market with a successful launch.
  • Expert in interaction and visual design, user flows and journeys, and information architecture
  • Expert in designing for Responsive layouts that work across mobile devices to large screen TVs.
  • Mastery with wireframing software such as Sketch and prototyping software such as Figma
  • Mastery of the User Experience discipline and methodologies for usability testing, personas creation, user interviews, customer journey mapping, behaviour design and accessibility
  • Previous UX/UI Designer team management experience
  • Demonstrates an obsession for Design, Quality and Customer Satisfaction
  • Deep understanding of features and limitations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as it applies to UI and Design
  • Fluent communication in English, both verbally and written to all levels within the organization including non-technical audience
  • BA in UX/User Experience Design or equivalent work experience
