Unified Communications Specialist

 Job Description:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take part in the Global Telephony Platform project covering roll outs in offices across the globe

• Execute daily tasks related to Cisco Telephony/UC operations and maintenance, including Incident Management, Problem Management and Request Fulfilment ITIL processes

• Support implementation/integration of Unified Communications solutions

• Create and update operational documentation


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Practical knowledge about Cisco Unified Communications

• Experience with Cisco UC, CCNA/CCNP Collaboration certifications or equivalent level of skills and experience will be a plus

• Experience with VoIP protocols and UC systems integration methods

• Familiarity of the UC network architecture

• Understanding of network switching and routing as related to a Unified Communications and Voice over IP networks, including SIP protocol suite

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

• Familiarity and understanding of best IT practices (ITIL)

• Good spoken/written English skills
