The Branch Manager will lead and oversee branch operations to drive sales growth, enhance market presence, foster customer satisfaction, and ensure operational excellence. This role entails full responsibility for profit and loss across operations, finance, and administration, while championing the organization's strategic and cultural goals.
The Challenges
- Develop and execute strategic plans that align with the organizations global vision and business objectives.
- Drive revenue and volume growth to meet or exceed set targets.
- Promote a high-performance culture through effective internal communication and values-driven leadership.
- Collaborate with internal departments and global teams to ensure seamless operations and customer service.
- Lead, mentor, and develop branch staff to achieve superior outcomes and professional growth.
- Cultivate strong client relationships to enhance satisfaction and profitability.
- Maximize operational productivity and resource efficiency. Oversee daily operations, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and compliance requirements.
- Conduct market analysis to uncover new opportunities and drive business development.
- Resolve escalated customer issues with professionalism and efficiency.
What It Takes
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in the freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics sector, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role with P&L accountability.
- Strong track record in results-oriented leadership and department development.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of air, ocean, logistics, or supply chain operations. Solid understanding of market trends, with experience in marketing or product management considered a plus.
- Proficiency in English and local languages. Customer-focused with sharp analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Experience with CargoWise is advantageous.
- Demonstrates initiative, independence, and the ability to perform under pressure in diverse environments.
