With a global network and a commitment to excellence, help businesses streamline their operations and optimize their supply chains. They are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join them team and drive growth in their air and ocean freight divisions.

The Challenges
  • You will review respective business units request for Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the air and ocean freight sectors.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the company's client base and market share.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Provide customized logistics solutions to meet client needs.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for air and ocean freight services in Singapore.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure profitable deals.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and pricing, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on business development progress and challenges.
What It Takes
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the logistics industry, with a focus on air and ocean freight.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade, customs regulations, and freight forwarding processes.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
