The Planning Manager is responsible for managing master production schedules (MPS) and materials planning requirement (MRP) to meet customer delivery requirements under best utilize the company's production capacity. Duties include managing a team of planners who establish production plans, materials plan and tracking to ensure on-time deliveries.
The Planning Manager is responsible to review and approve SCRF and formula to ensure that master data set up is on time.


The Challenges
  • Generating Master Production Schedules and Manufacturing Orders, forecasting inventory requirements, optimizing inventory levels as well as helping the organization
    evaluate and implement an inventory management ERP or other related system.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Operation team to plan and monitor inventory levels.
  • Review sales forecasts, customer demands, and schedule production batches based on inventory levels and production lead times.
  • Optimize inventory levels and working capital while supporting targeted customer service levels.
  • Coordinate production material requirements with Purchasing / Operations teams to assure adequate inventory of raw materials and packaging components.
  • Analyze capacity and resource requirements and coordinate necessary adjustments.
  • Monitor the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
  • Be responsible for the WIP and packaging materials and keep Management informed of any issues with this inventory.
  • Monitor all materials usage such as packaging materials, pigment, flavor and lubricant fluctuation in usage, and follow thru all material until it is used up.
  • Be responsible to notify management of slow moving, obsolete and alert Management about materials older than 6 months for disposition.
  • Be responsible for receiving order and ensure commitment is accurate and feedback to Marketing thru system.
  • Be responsible to communicate effectively with all regions of the order status, any delays with commitments.
  • Be responsible for managing purchasing of packaging materials as per requirement to meet customer order.
  • Maintain compliance with all internal and external EHS rules, regulations and other Risk Management requirements.
  • Actively use the safety calendar as an accountability tool to measure safety performance and to promote the development of an EHS culture. Review and approve SCRF and Formular (master data).
  • Tracking master list to ensure on time set up.
  • Others as assigned by Superior from time to time.
What It Takes
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations Planning, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of professional or managerial experience in production environment managing product inventories and planning and managing production scheduling for products.
  • Established experience in Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred.
  • Highly professional oral and written communication skills.
    Detail oriented, focused, data driven, and extremely well organized.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong on Production Planning and inventory management and control.
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).
  • Proficient in the use of ERP manufacturing operating systems.
  • Ability to travel locally and abroad for work.
