Our client is seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapists to join their team in Detroit, MI. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), you provide essential respiratory therapy services under general supervision, collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, and instruct team members and students on respiratory care procedures. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about improving respiratory health and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapeutic and rehabilitative procedures for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Instruct staff and students on proper respiratory care techniques and procedures.
- Serve as an in-charge therapist and preceptor as needed, ensuring high standards of patient care.
Schedule and Shift Details
- Shifts: Day and Night shifts available
- Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
Position Requirements
- Experience: 1+ years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Education: Graduate of an AMA/CoARC approved Respiratory Care program
- Licensure: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- Certifications: Must have all of the following:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Any of the following CPR certifications:
- CPR certification, or
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
