IT Auditor

The IT Auditor will support the delivery of IT audit, IT general controls (ITGC), and technology risk engagements for clients across sectors, working closely with engagement leads to assess the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls, identify control gaps, and support the development of practical, risk-based recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT general controls (ITGC) reviews covering access management, change management, IT operations, and backup/recovery.
• Prepare clear, well-referenced working papers in line with firm and professional standards.
• Liaise with client IT, finance, and business teams to gather evidence and clarify control environments.
• Support engagement leads in client meetings, closing discussions, and follow-up on outstanding items.
• Perform walkthroughs, control testing, and evidence evaluation for financial and operational systems (ERP, core banking, payroll, and related platforms).

Experience

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in IT audit, ITGC testing, or IT risk advisory, ideally within a professional services firm, internal audit function, or financial institution.
• Exposure to Saudi/GCC regulatory and business environments is an advantage.
