Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Rigid Driver to join our team at Hannon Transport in Mayo. As a Rigid Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to our clients throughout the Mayo area.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a rigid vehicle to deliver goods to various locations in Mayo

- Plan and follow the most efficient route for each delivery

- Load and unload goods from the vehicle

- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures

- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner

- Keep accurate records of deliveries and any issues that may arise

- Perform regular vehicle maintenance and inspections

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

- Follow company safety protocols at all times

- Other duties as assigned by the company

Requirements:

- Valid Rigid Driving License

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Rigid Driver

- Good knowledge of the Mayo area

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects

- Clean driving record 

- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends, if needed
