Role Summary
As a Project Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting financial analysis and economic evaluations to support strategic decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with project teams to ensure financial integrity, optimize resource allocation, and contribute to the development of robust business cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed financial analysis and modeling to support project planning and execution.
- Develop and evaluate business cases using frameworks such as the 5 Case Model.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Conduct economic impact studies and cost-benefit analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment with project goals.
- Support risk assessment and mitigation strategies from a financial perspective.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in financial analysis and economic studies, preferably on major projects.
- Proven expertise in analytical and financial/economic skills.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling tools and relevant software.
- Strong knowledge of business case development and the 5 Case Model.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
